Spring Break Training Schedule
Friday, March 27 2015Saturday, 3/28: DOC + 6-8 strides
Sunday, 3/29: Long run (20% of weekly mileage target)
Monday, 3/30: Recovery easy run + pushups/core
Tuesday, 3/31:
Distance group - 20 min. - 8k at tempo pace
Mid-D group - 2 x 1200 with 4 min. jog recovery after each + 2 x 800 with 2 min. jog (5k pace for 12s and 8s)
*if you do not have access to a track, can do 4 min. hard, 4 easy, 4 hard, 4 easy, 2:30 hard, 2 easy, 2:30 hard
Wednesday, 4/1: Recovery + pushups/core
Thursday, 4/2: DOC + 6-8 strides
Friday, 4/3: 20x Springside hill sprints
Saturday, 4/4: Recovery + pushups/core
Sunday, 4/5: Long Run
Monday, 4/6: Recovery run + 6-8 strides
